John Hew
CEO

John Hew has over 17 year of executive search experience and a proven track record of providing Fortune 500 clients with quality talent to solve their human capital needs.  He has worked with clients in the Automotive, Consumer Brands, Electronics, Food & Beverage and Telecom industries.

Before starting Summit Alliance, Mr. Hew was the CEO of Amotec Inc., an executive search firm.  He started Amotec Inc. in 2000, growing the business into a $3M firm. Prior to selling the business in 2008, the company earned prestigious local and national awards: Weatherhead 100 Winner – Ranked 19th of 100 Fastest Growing Companies in NE Ohio and Inc. 5000 Award – recognizing the fastest privately held companies nationwide (ranked 4,093).

Previously, Mr. Hew started his recruiting career at Aim Executive (1990) and became a Director at Spherion Inc when it acquired Aim Executive (1997).

Mr. Hew earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The Ohio State University in 1990 and is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
